PALAZZO PICCOLOMINI * * * *
An old and beautiful palace in the old town with brightly colored rooms.
It is an ancient and magnificent palace in the old town, remarkably restored and converted to serve as a hotel. In fact, Palazzo Piccolomini in Orvieto is a building protected by the Fine Arts, which belonged to the Piccolomini papal family from the end of the 16th century until the death of Countess Maria Cristina Piccolomini (1905). The service here is of the highest quality. The rooms, with their light colours, are set in a very sober setting, with stone flooring and some of them have four-poster beds.
