Charming rooms in an elegant villa with pool, bar and restaurant in Orvieto.

An elegant 16th century villa surrounded by a 2 hectare park with century old trees, at the confluence of the Chiani river and the Carcaione stream. The rooms are magnificent, with large four-poster beds and high ceilings. There is a bar room, a reading room, two conference rooms for up to 60 people and a restaurant. In the park you will also find a swimming pool surrounded by greenery. Private parking is available for hotel guests. Comfort and class define this establishment!

Unless you are travelling with a car I wouldn’t recommend to stay there, it is far from the Orvieto station to go to the town, and they told us before we booked that there was a bus every 30 min from there, but it is not true the buses go from Orvieto station and if you walk to the station is 2km, the taxi called by the hotel try to charge €20 to the station for 5 min drive, and online we got taxis for €10, may be only €10 extra but it is the principle as €10 is the standard charge.

Bellissima villa in prossimità di Orvieto e dell’autostrada A1. Camere spaziose e pulite, solo il bagno un po’ piccolo. Ottima ospitalità ,Gentilezza e cordialità. Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo.

We had much higher expectations of this hotel. The pool is not as nice as on the pictures, we didn't feel to be at the pool at all because there were too many flies hanging around. The rooms were very tiny, including the bathroom. It was all very outdated. Service was good though. We stayed as much as we could out of the hotel as we didn't enjoy spending too much time there. Price/quality ratio did not much at all. Definitely was not worth 150 euros a night. We would not go here again or recommend it.
