The rest of the temple of Jupiter is on top of Mount Sant'Angelo.
The remains of the temple of Jupiter are enthroned at the top of Mount Sant'Angelo. Built in the 1st century BC, the complex consisted of two temples and a whole series of service buildings (cisterns, porches, etc.). Today we can only see the podium and the powerful stone base pierced by a cryptoportic on which the buildings stood. The temple hosted the statue of Jupiter as a child (anxiety means "unbearable"). From the site, the breathtaking view embraces the islands of Ponza and Zannone.
