MUNDA - MUSEO NAZIONALE D'ABRUZZO
Museum containing art objects that trace the history of Abruzzo with a chronological tour
The National Museum of Abruzzo was housed in the Spanish fort until the earthquake of 2009 forced the transfer of the collections. 120 art objects are on display and trace the history of Abruzzo. From the occupation of the territory by the Italic peoples, then by the Romans to the 17th century, where the Baroque style dominates, through the Middle Ages, you will learn more about the region. The Beffi triptych (15th century) is one of the museum's masterpieces.
