CHIESA DI SANTA MARIA ASSUNTA
Church with frescoes and a crypt dedicated to San Francisco d'Assergi
Built between the 12th and 14th centuries, it was erected on the remains of a previous church whose remains can still be seen in the crypt. The façade has a beautiful Romanesque portal and a large rose window, reminiscent of the façade of Santa Maria di Collemaggio in L'Aquila. The interior contains very interesting frescoes of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. You can also visit the crypt of the XII century, dedicated to San Franco d'Assergi.
