COCATHEDRAL OF SAN PELINO
Basilica dedicated to San Pelino with Romanesque façade, Baroque choir, fresco and ambo
Dedicated to San Pelino, a fourth century martyr, and built between 1075 and 1124, the co-cathedral basilica has one of the most beautiful Romanesque facades in the region. Inside you will find, among other things, a baroque wooden choir, a remarkable ambo (late 18th century) and a 13th century fresco. Also worth seeing is the oratory of Sant'Alessandro, located next to the co-cathedral. The whole complex has been declared a national monument.
