Don't stop at its old-fashioned decoration, the Locanda medievale is one of the best addresses in Sulmona! This restaurant located in the shadow of the statue of Ovid, in the heart of the historical center, serves traditional Abruzzo cuisine. In the large interior room you can taste fresh pasta: the saffron, porcini and truffle pasta is a delight! And for dessert, the cassata di Sulmona with chocolate and sugared almonds is highly recommended. The service is friendly and the portions are generous.
