MUSEO DELL'OTTOCENTO
A museum to explore, housing a collection of Italian and French masterpieces on 3 floors.
The museum, which opened at the end of 2021, is located in the historic building of the former Banca d'Italia and houses a collection of 19th century Italian and French masterpieces from the collection of Venceslao Di Persio and Rosanna Pallotta. A total of 260 works are on display and the visit is divided into three floors, from the Scuola di Resina to the interactions between Italian and French artists at the end of the century. A room is reserved for the painter Antonio Mancini and works by Rosa Bonheur and Gustave Courbet conclude the tour.
