MUSEO MAURIZIO LOCATI
Museum dedicated to the Apennine chamois, an archaeological section on the Majella on site
This museum, named after Maurizio Locati, the Milanese zoologist who reintroduced the chamois, is largely dedicated to the Apennine chamois: its environment, its characteristics and the different phases of its reintroduction in the Majella. It also offers a very interesting archaeological section on the Majella, which allows you to go back in time, from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Among the exhibits are coins, stone utensils and various iron and bronze funerary objects.
