CHIESA DI SAN BARTOLOMEO
Elegant church with a great architectural simplicity.
Built in the 13th century, this church preserves an architectural simplicity, thanks to its preserved Romanesque style. It was built in limestone blocks from the Apennines. Its main entrance door is framed by two columns supporting an arch that houses a semicircular tympanum, divided into two parts. On the first, Christ the Redeemer is represented. On the second, a fine frieze is composed of eight frames, eight trapezoidal inserts that contain small animal sculptures symbolizing the four evangelists.
