CHIESA E CONVENTO DI SAN GIOVANNI DEL GELSI

The origins of the church date back to the twelfth century. She received the visit, one night's time, from Saint Francis of Assisi during his stay in Campobasso. The three-nefs interior contains reliefs, sculptures and crypt. Behind the great altar, a painting of the fifteenth century representing the Madonna delle Grazie. The convent has a rich library of old volumes.
