BANCA D'ITALIA
Built in the time of fascism, it houses works by local artists: Nicola Biondi, Arnaldo De Lisio, Francesco Diodati. The works in question are about the most significant episodes of molisan history.
Thus, in the room reserved for the public, one can see on the right side a web of Nicola Biondi which traces the entry into Campobasso of Ferrante I of Gonzague and his wife Isabella De Capua, and the visit of Pope Alessandro III (1159-1181) to the city of Termoli on the Adriatic coast. In the center of the room, we'll notice three Lisio De Lisio goggles: the first represents Pope Célestin V (1294) in Isernia; the second rebuttal of the feudal area of Campobasso; the third evokes a funeral tribute to Amédée VI of Savoy.
