This is the furthest airport from central London, 64 kilometers to the northeast of the city. It was built in 1991 to designs by the famous architect Norman Foster. It is mainly served by low-cost airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair. But more and more flights are now arriving at Stansted as Heathrow and Gatwick become saturated. Thanks to the Stansted Express, you can reach the airport in 47 minutes from Liverpool Street.

De plus en plus utilisé par les compagnies low cost, grand aéroport très fréquenté, ce qui veut dire prévoir du temps à l'arrivée et au départ pour les formalités, ce qui veut dire ne pas réserver par exemple un trajet en bus pour rejoindre Londres avec un horaire trop juste. Le train jusqu'à Londres est pratique et rapide mais plus cher que le bus. Ce dernier respecte plus ou moins les horaires affichés mais permet de voir Londres et sa banlieue, les images sont plutôt sympas.
