Luton is a small airport, the 4th largest in the city, from which flights mainly depart for major European destinations. It carries 10 million passengers per year. It is at this airport that most of the flights of low-cost airlines arrive. Possible train connection to St Pancras station from Luton Airport Parway railway station. Allow between 30 and 50 minutes of travel time. There are also longer bus and taxi connections.

Un petit aéroport où il n’y a pas énormément de monde. Il y a peu de places assises mais on s’occupe bien avec les nombreuses boutiques

Situé à 1h30 de Londres, Luton airport est assez petit. Peu de places pour s'assoire avant l'enregistrement puis une fois cela fait, de nombreuses boutiques soivenirs et de restauration sont proposées. Mise à part le retard de certains avions, les files d'attentes ne sont pas trop longues et l'environnement est sympa.

Jadis un petit aéroport bien excentré de Londres, Luton est devenu un vrai hub. Lors de mon dernier séjour, j'ai loué une voiture de location et là c'est assez l'enfer... prendre la navette qui vous emmène à 5 minutes de l'aéroport. Prévoir large quand vous rendrez la voiture car des navettes circulent toutes les 10/20 minutes. L'embarquement reste assez facile mais attention à l'affluence à certaines heures. De nombreuses boutiques fermées lors de mon passage. reste un des meilleurs aéroports entre Gatwick ou Stansted.

Il est très facile de se repérer dans cet aéroport où tout est très bien indiqué.
Un train va directement jusqu'au centre de Londres, cela peut paraître long, mais à 9€ le billet d'avion, ce n'est pas gênant d'atterrir ici.

an airport in the north that is served by easy jet again and some other companies (like el al). The security check can be very long so go in advance. The passport check in entrance can be long too. The route I atke alwsy to come to London is to take the bus to the Luton railway station and then teh train to london euston (St pancras). It is better to buy the railway ticket inside before going out of the secure area because thare are no queues and it includes also the bus ticket.
