Named in honour of the famous victory of the English during the Battle of Waterloo against Napoleon Bonaparte, this station is located on the south bank of the Thames. It is one of the busiest stations in the United Kingdom with more than 99 million passengers in 2015. It welcomes trains from the South and South West of England, and serves Windsor, Exeter, Portsmouth, Bournemouth or Southampton.... For a long time it was the arrival station of the Eurostar, now replaced by St. Pancras, no longer in the centre.
