The worst room here is better than the best rooms at most top hotels (same for all Firmdales). The rooms are quiet - you really can't hear a thing.
Other great things:
- Best water pressure of any hotel. Showers are so relaxing
- Heated towel racks
It isn't cheap, but it is great.

Would recommend.
Ambiance was good and location excellent, but food was very mediocre. The set menu was uninspired and I honestly could and do make a better cottage / shepherd's pie myself. Overall disappointed by the lack of inspiration.
Overall, the service was poor. I would expect a much better service from a 5 star hotel and it was not worth the 12.5% service fee they apply to each bill (perhaps that is why the staff do not seem to bother making it a good experience?)
Overall the terrace where the afternoon tea is hosted is beautifully decorated with a cute theme but this was not a fantastic experience and disappointing considering it was a special occasion. I would not recommend and I will not be returning.
They delivered beyond any expectation we had. The staff were friendly and approachable for any and all questions and assistance. The rooms were impeccable. Spa was wonderful. Spacious, fashionable and above all, friendly.
The area and convenience are great too, really close to Picadilly Circus and barely three minutes from the West End theatres.
When we can afford it again, we will be back for our anniversaries!
I had the delight in staying at Ham Yard Hotel and I have nothing but thanks and grateful pleasure in the way all the staff looked after me and the hotel had a unique unbelievable vibe of joy ,love and happiness in all aspect's.
See you soon Ham Yard Hotel and keep up the epic work that you all do.
God bless now and always.
