The place is very nicely located with spacious bedrooms and a very welcoming staff.
I assume that not all rooms experience noise issues but with my personal experience I can't recommend this place.
Without the noise I would have rated this place a 5 star.
When we were about to go (8 ish), the barman told us that we should come back later in the evening as the bar is turning into a kind of after party place. To which we say we will.
When we come back and walk 25 minutes to get back to the place after our dinner, the lady at the entrance goes and check if we can come in first and finally tells us the place is full and refuses us the entry as if we were teenagers refused the entry in a night club.
At 32 years old, I wasn’t expecting that even less from a 5-star Hotel.
I could understand that the place is full, but why overpromise anything and therefore make us walk back there for nothing? And why not making an exception if she knows we walked back there for a while and been promised it as I told her?
I appreciate the fact that the place is a lot around « cool vibes » which makes it very nice and unique, but at the end of the day, it remains a 5-star Hotel and treating customers this way is not acceptable. Even from a non-luxury place, managing expectations in a wrong way like this is not really acceptable.
