We love this hotel in the cool, urban neighborhood of Shoreditch. Like all Nobu establishments, it honors Japanese simplicity, expressed through multiple design details, while paying tribute to the urban vibe of East London. The 164 suites and rooms are spacious, bright and well insulated. The hotel also houses one of the trendiest restaurants in the area, offering high quality Japanese cuisine. It's a no-brainer.

We decided to try Nobu's bottomless brunch after seeing numerous videos on social media, and securing a reservation was quite a challenge. The restaurant was packed, indicating its popularity, but unfortunately, we found it to be somewhat overrated. The buffet offering of sushi and sashimi was disappointingly limited, and the quality didn't quite match the high expectations, especially given the price tag of £120 or more. I'd suggest opting for a casual dinner instead, where you might get better value for your money. The desserts were decent but not exceptional. While the service was efficient, the crowded atmosphere meant there was less personal attention and more of a mass-production feel. Overall, it didn't quite live up to the hype.

Overall it was an ok stay for us. The hotel lobby was nice and staffs were friendly but the room feels really small and soundproof was also not great. Strangely loud at night as people going in and out of their room.
