My family and I had a lovely 4 night stay at The Gore. It was made special by the patient and attentive staff. Their kindness and assistance made very jet lagged people feel well cared for. Also worth mentioning is how quiet and clean the hotel is kept. Located in Kensington we had access to everything including shopping, food, museums, and laundry services. Obviously it is an older building, which is part of the beauty. If you like ultra modern this is not the right choice for you. That being said we had the best internet connection here and not at our modern stay. The only downside was the plumbing was a bit of a wild card, which is often the case in older buildings. We would definitely stay here again.

Shortage of bar staff. Hotel was full. No hot water ...not their fault but reception staff in a flap. Nice clean rooms costs of drinks and extras needs to be more transparent. Hotel booked for its location

Great location for a pre Royal Albert Hall drink or two. I booked a table in the bar area. Service a little slow and drinks on the pricey side. But London hey?? And then there is the food. Wow. It’s so over-priced. Really poor quality. It’s the sort of food that gives London a shocking reputation. It doesn’t do the reputation of the hotel any favours too. Burger and chips x 2 (one the vegan option). Oven chips thrown into small finger bowl. Vegan burger is simply a mushroom with some limp lettuce. That is a mushroom sandwich. £90 for two burgers and four g&t’s. Ouch.

Cené en su restaurante en mi primera noche en Londres y fue sorpresivamente grato! Toda la comida me encantó y el servicio por parte de Freddie fue espectacular!

Nice clean room but bathroom could use some work. Caulking dirty and tiles missing grout. Overall decent for my first time in London.

Great location, decent sized rooms (for London) with a lot of charm and character (and nice high ceilings!). Our room had a VERY spacious bathroom with an antique wooden toilet (which was very neat to see at first, but slightly gross in reality...). Overall decent hotel in a great location for a good value. Would stay again.

Amazing. Touch of European culture, come in and ask for Daviid & Daniel’s special. An insight into the cultures of Spain, educated opinions of English culture, amazing recommendations for a short stay. Cannot reccomend higher

Lovely rooms with the only complaint being the very low-level electric sockets.

We’ve just had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Gore Hotel.
The staff were very polite & helpful, nothing to much trouble.
We stayed in the Queen Victoria Suite, which was a lovely room with a very comfy bed. Would have been nice to have had a heated towel rail to dry our towels. I was also surprised that there were not more clothes hangers in the cupboard. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, but disappointed with the limited choice for dinner, so we only ate in one evening. The Gore is a beautiful hotel with lots of character, loved all the mirrors everywhere.
All in all a great experience & we would definitely visit again.

Perfect location for Hyde Park and The Royal Albert Hall.
Great breakfast. Service is outstanding.
The bar is very expensive, although we expect that in London.

Fab hotel just round the corner from The Royal Albert Hall. The staff are very polite and cheerful. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful dressed with antique furniture.

I like it, nice hotel

Smaller room than expected, small bed, small bathroom, could not sit comfortably at the toilet because it was right next to the wall. American/European sockets where British sockets were expected. TV in awkward placement. Late check-in. Unexpected service charges. Bar cocktails were really good but the bar was a bit disorganised. The staff was very polite and friendly but the place is not very well run.

Absolutely a NO for us. We stayed there for 5 nights and we were suffering! The room was tiny and the toilets weren’t flushing right. The shower wasn’t closing right so we had to call maintenance to come and fix it with a screw driver every day. The bed was SO UNCOMFORTABLE it felt like we were sleeping on a hard floor. The “breakfast” they offer it’s only cereal and bread and super small portions so don’t even bother with complementary breakfast. And the front gentleman didn’t wanna bother explaining what the extra charges were on our check out bill. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
