The rooms were small but clean and well-maintained.
Staff were exceptionally welcoming, especially the assistants Riana, Kwaja and Ioana.
The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options.
Location was perfect mostly quiet and close to the city centre.
Perfect location in Shoreditch. Great walking proximity to all the great restaurants and pubs in the area. Shoreditch was our favourite area in the city!
Lively lobby/lounge which was always bustling with people (either working during the day or dinning and drinking in the evening).
Solid room size for London. And found it to be petty affordable for the area. We had a back street facing room, which was not noisy at all.
Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to London!
Room are small but nice. The problem I had was that my time was not cleaned when I asked in the lobby at Lehigh the room in the morning
Great sound proofed rooms as on weekends even though the music was loud in the lobby I was not able to hear anything
The rooms are smallish as expected in trendy hotels young hotels these days that swarm Shoreditch. The room was cleverly design for the size to be perfectly functional without looking superbly cookie cutter. The hotel is as full as the public area around the lobby. The have superbly buzzing hang out place/ co-working area (just like many trendy hotels in the area nowadays.) which was hard to find a seat.
Good value no frill hotel. All dry amenities are on request and so is housekeeping. It was just easy living. No gym, no pool, no spa - just chill.
The entire team goes above and beyond on everything.
Especially the night reception team who had been amazing with accommodating to all our requests. The friendliness of the team is a unique feature in this hotel.
The entire night reception team is amazing. from Che, Yoana, Khwaja and Aisha are your friends in this place.
* Great value for money on the room, food, and drinks.
* Comfortable bed.
* Great location.
* Great aesthetic.
* Very friendly staff.
* Decent Wi-Fi.
* Good shower (according to my friend).
Cons:
* Bathroom door doesn't seal, so not a lot of privacy.
* Wi-Fi was a bit intermittent in the lobby.
My chief issue is with the lobby service. The hotel seems to treat the entire lobby as a restaurant. I had gone on a morning walk and came to the lobby to sit by the fireplace and read my book, and I had a coffee and croissant I'd bought elsewhere with me. I was asked by a staff member if I wanted to order food, and when I said no I was told I couldn't sit in the lobby and had to return to my room. Frankly this is a ridiculous policy. I'm already paying to stay in the hotel, I shouldn't need to pay extra just to sit in the lobby. I would understand if I were sitting at the bar or in the restaurant area, but this was in a lounge chair near reception. Or if it was a busy time with a lot of outside guests, but this was at 10am and very few other people were around. I hope the hotel reconsiders this horrible policy because it makes me reluctant to stay here again, even though otherwise I liked the hotel.
Petit déjeuner un peu juste...
