MOTOWN THE MUSICAL
Nominated for a Tony Award, Motown The Musical, who happens at the Shaftesbury Theatre, tells the story of Berry Gordy, creator of Motown, and of the artists he discovered during his career. The Broadway show depicts the Parcours course which, with 800 meager dollars borrowed from his family, starts as a pen-weight boxer before becoming a giant in the music world by discovering and launching many famous artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye. Revealing the true history of the record house that revolutionized the world of music and scored a whole generation, Motown The Musical staged about fifty of Motown's fetishes songs.
