UNICORN THEATRE
Imagine a travelling theatre, created in 1947 in the aftermath of the war, installed in a civil defence van who moves his troop of actors every day. This is what the Unicorn Theatre created by Caryl Jenner created. Initially producing for an adult audience, the troupe began to play parts for children as early as 1956. In 1960, Caryl Jenner decided to create a fixed theatre in London for them. If the section dedicated to adults closes a few years later, the success of the children's theatre is not dément. After the death of Caryl, his assistant takes over and the development of the site continues. In 2005, a new theatre opened its doors, the programming of which continues to attract small and large with about twenty pieces each year.
