A faithful reproduction of the theater where Shakespeare's troupe performed. The original building was constructed in 1599, closed in 1642 and destroyed. Architects therefore had to use the remains discovered and the plans found to carry out the reconstruction, using only the materials and techniques of the time. The interior features an open-air stage, a pit and covered seating. From May to October, shows are performed in costume.

La visite du Shakespeare Globe est sympa, le bâtiment est joli mais pas d'origine. L'accueil est très agréable et nous avons eu un très bon guide.
