One of our favorite places to spend Friday evenings, well known to the locals. Almost always crowded, you have to fight hard to get a seat at one of the large shared wooden tables dotted around the market. The Mercato Metropolitano offers over 4,000 square meters of varied bars and food stalls from all over the world. The atmosphere is lively, noisy and cheerful, reminiscent of Lisbon's famous Time Out Market. Other addresses to discover include Mayfair, Wood Wharf, Elephant Park and Ilford.
