One of the best bars on the capital's south bank and in Brixton, which has lost none of its spice. Hootananny hosts concerts of ska, reggae, disco and other caliente sounds in an equally ebullient atmosphere. When the weather's nice, don't miss its vast beergarden, where you can socialize all night long, when you're not wiggling on the dance floor. You can also sample the delicious Caribbean cuisine, and if you don't want to miss out on all the action, you can stay in the hostel.
