It's hard to imagine a more typical British event: a rowing race between Oxford and Cambridge, worthy of a TV series!
A famous rowing competition between Oxford and Cambridge, every year around Easter. Obviously, the reputation of each of the two prestigious British universities is at stake, and the confrontation is bound to be fierce! The race takes place on the majestic River Thames, near Richmond, and the banks and pubs are packed with enthusiastic spectators. It's a typically British event, much appreciated by the general public. Cambridge teams wear light blue, Oxford teams dark blue.
