CHARING CROSS HOSPITAL
Charing Cross Hospital is an acute general teaching hospital located in Hammersmith, London. It was opened in 1973, but was originally established in 1818 in central London. The hospital has 511 beds and is affiliated to Imperial College School of Medicine. Charing Cross Hospital is also home to the region's hyperacute stroke unit and is an integrated care center in partnership with local GPs and community care providers. In addition to medical services, the hospital has a restaurant and cafés, as well as religious services with a Christian chapel, a Muslim prayer room and a multi-faith hall.
