Raleigh International is an English organization that offers quasi-professional missions through solidarity, environmental and scientific experiences worldwide. On-site stays last no less than 5 weeks and are similar to real training.
What are they proposing? Several programs: for 17-24 years, for those over 25 years of age, concretely, volunteers must construct and conduct three projects in relation to the local population : an environmental project, a community and a discovery. Each project must be completed in three weeks and is followed by two or three days of leave.
Where? Borneo, Costa Rica, India, Nicaragua, Malaysia
Profile and conditions. Understand English. Programs can be tested because they often occur in hostile environments; a weekend of selection will put candidates to the test. Raleigh International can help you get the necessary funds. Volunteers over 25 will be required to attend a training session before leaving. £ 1 750 for 5 weeks, £ 2 995 for 10 weeks, excluding air transportation. For those over 25, £ 1 350 for 8 weeks, £ 1 950 for 13 weeks of expedition.
