Greenforce is a British non-profit organization created in 1997. It sends teams of volunteers for environmental conservation expeditions to feed the research. All collected data are given to the national authority responsible for the conditions of flora, fauna and conservation in each country.

What do they propose  ? Workshops from 3 to 12 weeks. In Fiji, for example, you will plunge in ecologically important areas to make previews and gather information about coral reefs. Greenforce also offers educational missions in the Kathmandu Valley and development within Maasai tribes.

Where  ? Borneo, Bahamas, Fiji, Ecuador, Tanzania, Nepal, South Africa, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, China…

Profile and conditions. To participate in missions, you need to be major and in good physical condition. Rates depend on destinations and types of stay. For example, 3 weeks of marine conservation internship in the Bahamas for £ 1 550, 12 weeks for £ 4 250.
