The Geffrye Museum is a great example of the quintessence of English style in the families of the small bourgeoisie. The rooms combine a collection of furniture, textiles, paintings and decorative objects from 1600 to the present. The visitor is driven into a journey in time discovering Georgian style, elegance of Victorian style and modernity of the early twentieth century. The museum is located in a beautiful th century mansion surrounded by a nice garden. A new part is open to the public: the hospice that has just been restored, it only visits on specific dates you will find on the website.
