A royal residence attached to St. James's Palace, with which it shares its gardens, Clarence House was built between 1825 and 1827 by John Nash. Clarence House was the residence of the Queen Mother for five decades, then the London home of King Charles III and his wife Camilla. Its main attraction is the Queen Mother's art collection, with works by John Piper, Graham Sutherland and Augustus John, as well as beautiful Fabergé eggs, English porcelain and even a painting by Monet and another by Fantin-Latour.
