The building is itself a work of art, admission is free. There are some nice pieces by Braque, Tanguy and a DuChamp classic, but the strength is in the collection of lesser-known artists' works. It's worth an afternoon. Open till 6 when we were there. Tickets for special exhibits can sell out well in advance.

There are so many things to see. Arranged very good, you can simply just walk through, and the place will guide you.

I liked all the exhibitions i saw.very interesting.and the lunch i had was very nice with a very nice view ,very nice staff and very attentive.perfect for a day out.i saw few parents with tiny babies in strollers also and few kids with their parents enjoying a workshop on ground floor so is a space for the whole family to enjoy.definetely reccomend it.

This place is huge, there are many different genres of modern art for you to discover. Some are controversial. Some are comical. All are thought provoking. I recommend you start early in the day to see it all, especially as private events and field trips start showing up in the afternoon. There are informational videos you can choose to sit through as well as interactive live art and various drawing stations to add your own flair to the collection. The museum is centrally located on the river Thames near the millennium walking bridge. There is also a cafeteria on the top floor with an outdoor blading/ patio that overlooks the surrounding city of London and adjacent river Thames.

The Tate Modern is an exceptional art museum. There’s numerous floors of traditional art media, large sculptures and immersive rooms all for free. They also have interesting special exhibitions as well but you will pay extra. If your a modern art lover or just a art lover in general then the Tate is a must visit. Some notable artists here include Pollack, Mondrian, Lichtenstein and Duchamp. Leaving a donation or shopping the gift shop is a great way to keep the magic alive.
Dos art pieces up ???? ????

The main parts are run down, grubby, uncared for, depressing. Two of the ridiculously slow four lifts not even working. Main exit closed off because of building “works”, but no guidance as to alternative exit - took me 15 minutes to find. No proper signs or directions to get around the place - a constant state of being lost. Overcrowded. No staff around to ask for directions except an exceptionally rude and aggressive female security guard. The espresso cafe pointedly cheap and dismal. It served almost nothing except hot drinks in cheap paper cups and a couple of mini-cakes and packets of crisps; on a par with a petrol service station shop. My chair in a cafe was smashed into by an exhibition exit door, nearly knocking me off it. Obviously not even consideration given to basics as where to place tables and chairs. Only the bar is decent-looking and functioning, if understaffed. It used to be better once upon a time - at least it was clean and there were staff. Compared with the beautiful Zurich art gallery or Modern Art of New York, it’s a miserable experience. This includes some of the banal art on display and the woke curating / political lecturing. It was a disappointment.

Free!! This gallery is growing on me. It does challenge your mind somewhat.

Tate Modern je moje srdcovka, tady se mi líbí vždycky. Útočiště v deštivém počasí, kde je vždycky co vidět.

For modern art lovers, otherwise it's a waist of time. Free entry

Nice art with a message. It was wonderful because it was free $$ to enter.

We booked a 10:15 timed entry; was able to enter at 10am. Saturday morning was a bit hectic which led to maneuvering groups. There's ample art & routes to take to allow everyone the opportunity to see. I liked the free exhibitions, did not pay for the additional exhibits. Would definitely return.

Great museum wth lots to see for free, unfortunately you had to wait for specific times for the paid exhibitions so I skipped that part. Would gladly pay if I could see it on my own

Superbe musée d'art contemporain, belle architecture moderne. La vue du bar du 10ème étage vaut le coup d'oeil. De très belles œuvres à découvrir ou à re-découvrir !
