Located in a former ice warehouse built around 1862 for Carlo Gatti, the famous ice maker, it presents the history of trade on London's inland waterways. This small museum traces the history of the London canals, and teaches us a lot about the cargo and commercial life of the time until these industrial techniques were abandoned. You will discover the life of the boatmen of the time and the methods of towing pulled by horses, and you will explore the interior of the barges. After the visit, take a walk on Regent's Canal.
