Historically, the area was home to the first Chinese emigrants in the 18th and 19th centuries, then saw the arrival of Cantonese refugees after the Second World War. Here you'll find Chinese restaurants, supermarkets and gadgets, also dotted around Lisle Street. Every year, Chinatown celebrates Chinese New Year, which falls between January and February, according to the lunar calendar. Parades, lion dancing, fireworks and food stalls. Not to be missed, these are the biggest celebrations outside Asia!

A district to see that if we are in the region, without much interest, too.
