BOROUGH MARKET
One of the oldest markets in the city. Everything is available in an exceptional and typical atmosphere. We want to taste everything!
Borough is London's oldest food market, dating back to the time of the Romans when they settled along the Thames, and occupying the same spot for almost 170 years. Even today, it's renowned for the quality of its produce. It's best to eat there on a Saturday lunchtime, in the dense, happy crowd! Take a tour of the stalls before deciding on your taste buds. Paella, German hot dog with a double helping of sauerkraut? Sliced fruit, creamy fudge , airy cheesecake or goat's milk ice cream?
