Located a little higher up than the Khan Shatyr, this restaurant with its all-wood décor, evocative of a windmill (which is indeed how it got its name), offers a menu essentially focused on Russian cuisine. A wide choice of pilmeni (ravioli filled with meat or vegetables, with herb or yoghurt sauces, etc.), fine soups and salads, beef Stroganoff of course, but also fresh or dried fish dishes. In the evening, folk groups frequently perform to add to the atmosphere. Great atmosphere.
