This is where the great Russian classics are performed. Even if you don't speak the language (but perhaps you know the play), it's still worth spending an evening here for the quality of the programming and to get an idea of what it's like to go out in posh Kazakhstan. Observe the auditorium as much as the stage, and take time to admire the building itself, completely renovated in 2020, for the 30th anniversary of its inauguration.
