This museum, which was the former home of Kazakh poet and writer Saken Seyfullin (1894-1939), considered the father of modern Kazakh literature, is housed in a handsome wooden building that stands out from the local urban landscape. The main interest lies in the house itself. The exhibits retrace Seyfullin's life, but there are no explanations in English, and the guards are as friendly as prison gates. For passionate scholars!
