This Almaty-based agency operates throughout the western part of the country with a focus on ecotourism, even if it's not obvious at first glance with all those 4x4s... Unfortunately, they are necessary to reach the starting points of treks on foot or horseback organized in the Altai mountains. Wild Ticket Asia also offers themed tours (pilgrimages, petroglyphs, skiing...) and operates all year round. Prices are rather high, but if you manage to put together a small group you'll quickly divide the costs, especially for transport.
