This apartment rental site offers solutions throughout the country, but its offer is particularly extensive in Almaty (from studios to villas), in price ranges to suit all budgets. In terms of duration, half-day rentals are available in the vicinity of the train and bus stations (a handy place to rest between two journeys). Recently, there have also been some interesting deals on rates with certain hotels, but you'll have to spend some time on the site, which is unfortunately not very user-friendly, to find them.
