SANDYQ RESTAURANT
Located close to the mausoleum, this restaurant is of course very touristy in form and crowded during pilgrimages. The rest of the time, it's a very honest establishment offering a good variety of nomadic dishes (grills, beshbarmak, plov...) and a good choice of salads, particularly appreciated on hot summer days. An orchestra plays folk music in the evenings, with occasional dance performances. All this in a very pleasant setting, where furniture and decor have been carefully thought out, giving pride of place to local crafts.
