Also named Abdulatif Mosque, she is lined with a large drum surmounted by a 27 m high blue dome. The mosque bears the name of one of Timur's descendants. Built in the th or th centuries, it was later transformed into madrasas. She had a system of piping that delineated the study rooms and an underground led to another madrasas now destroyed. The dome damaged by an earthquake and completed by the communists was well restored in 2000. The niche niche, once richly decorated with cornices and frescos, is very poorly preserved and the interior rooms are usually closed. The madrasas could accommodate up to 1 000 students.
