Tajik Air serves Khorog daily from Dushanbe, in theory. With the airport located more than 2,000 metres away and the flight passing over the mountains, weather can cause cancellations overnight, resulting in delayed departure dates for passengers. It is therefore best to go in person to reserve your place or rather to register on a waiting list, as it is long, even under normal conditions. Especially since priority is often given to Tajiks. The ticket to Dushanbe costs $75 to $100 depending on flights and dates.
