MAUSOLEUM OF FAKHR-AD-DIN RADI

Tekech's father's mausoleum was beautifully restored in the late 1990 s. It's a very small building overcrowded with a conical dome, looking a little bit. The drum of the dome presents twelve faces, a particularly important number, entirely covered with colored bricks evoking the most beautiful Timourides monuments of Samarkand. Its façade is decorated with geometrical motifs in very finely carved bricks. With regard to the mausoleum of a Sunni theologian, it is still the subject of great religious fervor, especially in the spring, during the pilgrimage of Navrouz.
