VELL BRIDGE
The old medieval donkey-backed bridge of Manresa has become, despite its numerous restorations, one of the symbols of the city.
The Pont Vell is a monument of the province of Barcelona that, despite its many restorations (mainly as a result of military conflicts), is one of the great symbols of the city, maintaining its original style and character. It crosses the river Cardener and has the classic humpback shape of medieval bridges, with eight semicircular arches, the highest of which is 25 meters high. In 1954 it was declared a National Historic and Artistic Monument and is the ideal place to access the old town.
