HOTEL FONDA EUROPA
Right in the city centre, this antique foundry with its classic and timeless charm is known for its restaurant, an icon of traditional Catalan cuisine. In an elegant and warm setting - it was frequented by the artists Dalí, Tàpies, Miró or the novelist Montalbán - let yourself be tempted by an "esmorzar de forquilla", a typical inland breakfast, with the "cap i pota", a kind of small stew consisting of head, foot and tripe of beef, which is very hearty, to be accompanied by a good glass of wine. You will also be able to spend the night in this opulent mansion dating back to 1771, with 37 very pleasant rooms (the oldest ones, on the first floor, are in a vintage style that will appeal to wine lovers). Excellent value for money. A real favourite!
