EL POU CALENT
Thermal water fountain with water drawn from almost 65 m underground at a temperature of 50 °C
1863 is the date engraved on this fountain of thermal water hanging on a facade of the rue des "bains". Above the window overlooking the spring, the town's coat of arms, consisting of four pals surmounted by the mural crown framed by the palms of the martyrdom of Saint Stephen, are the oldest known representations of the town's coat of arms. The water is drawn from almost 65 metres below ground and emerges at a temperature of around 50 degrees. Just next door, a great shop of local and natural products, El Rebost del Pou Calent.
