Housed in a beautiful modernist building of 1907 (the old plant Vapor Vapor I i Jover), this museum presents the industrial development of Catalonia through boilers, chimneys and other machines. Among the museum's permanent exhibitions, we note the surprising collection of old cars, the fascinating history of the computer, and a walk in different energy sources as an engine of human activity and industrialization.

La segonde partie, celle que je préfère, evoque l’histoire propre au bâtiment dans lequel se situe le musée, une ancienne usine textile à vapeur. On y voit comment était stocker le charbon et la laine, la chaudière, les mécanismes d’engrenages et de courroies qui actionnaient les diffèrentes machines de filature et de tissage, ….
Le bâtiment en lui même est très beau, avec son toit si particulier dont on peut avoir une vue panoramique en montant sur le toit de l’immeuble qui se situe juste à côté d’où on accède en prenant l’ascenceur qui mène au restaurant du musée.
