Viewpoint above the village of Montseny with a monolith protected by a window
Above the village, this viewpoint can be reached via a small path that goes up from the Museum Street. Here you can see the Sitja del Llop stele (or La Calma stele), an original megalithic stele from the late Neolithic period. It was found at the top of the Turó del Poniol, in the Pla de la Calma area. The monolith, now protected by a window, was part of a pastor's hut. One of its faces is decorated with concentric circles and U-shaped motifs whose interpretation remains mysterious.
