Church entirely turned to the sea, in honor of St. Bartolomé, standing on the promontory of La Punta.

The church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla, patron saints of Sitges, stands on the promontory of La Punta. Built in the 17th century, it has been modified several times. The promontory, which faces the sea, offers a magnificent view of the Mediterranean and the Passeig de la Ribera, especially at sunset. The festival in honor of St. Bartholomew, at the end of August, is celebrated with processions and fireworks.

En camping dans la ville de Sitges j'ai voulu visiter le tour de l'église et sa vue imprenable sur la mer. Qu'elle fut ma surprise à mon retour, mon véhicule a été enlevé. Correctement garé sur une place pour personne à, mobilité réduite, malgré la carte européenne de stationnement de ma fille. La police municipale s'est permis de le mettre en fourrière. Résultat 100 € d'amende avec 50% de réduction, 120€ d'enlèvement du véhicule et 7,50€ de taxi. Aucune considération de la part des agents de la ville. Aucune compassion envers ma fille. Je ne me rendrai plus dans ce piège à touristes.
